At first I did not want to do this, I did not want to comment on this topic, because it was my opinion that it didn’t belong in this book. I still think it doesn’t. But as I told you, I reflected on my whole life. I analysed it – how could I not after those blows of fate – and I have to admit that I also thought about the following. It is only a part of my experiences I made on the stock market, but I think it is a very important one: to learn how to estimate trends and how they change. I am sure you have already heard about or maybe have gone through that kind of painful experience yourself when so-called SMALL INVESTORS are often left empty-handed, because they jumped on the bandwagon when share prices were very high only to throw in the towel at much lower prices.
